2 Reviews of the Citadel 6

I know it's a bit late to the party! But having owned and used the C6 since 2010, I've been on the lookout for an extension to fit. We'll, finally found one. The is an almost exact fit. The extension for the Coleman Oak Canyon 6 is it. The colour is slightly different green but size wise its bag on.
My only other niggle with the C6 is the side door porch. I really don't see a use for the porch bit. A door yes but not the porch. We use it as a storage area rather than an entrance.

We purchased this tent earlier this year and have undertaken two trips thus far. One 2 night in Kent and another 10 night in Cornwall. The tent comes in two good sized bags one for poles, the other for the tent. We also have the footprint and the moderator. All of which takes up quite a lot of room. We encountered a considerable amount of rain whilst in Cornwall and suffered no leaks at all. I am 6'5'' and can stand in the main section. It is handy having the side porch entrance especially in poor weather. The main entrance can be opened to provide a small canopy using two poles supplied. Although this provides protection during only light rain. A larger canopy is really required as you have no where to cook if the weather is bad. The other issue would be the main entrance is only secured with a three inch piece of velcro. This can leave quite a gap to let in a draft on cooler nights. These are minor points and overall we are very pleased with the performance of this tent.

Manufacturer's Description
Updated for 2011 with new Jumbo pegs and kevlar reinforced main guy points.
The 2 bedrooms can be used independently if required, and the larger one has a dividing curtain that can be used to separate children or create a storage space. The steel Jumbo Poles are the strongest we've ever used for a family tent, and allow the creation of a living area that spans over 4 meters! This area has large windows and 2 bug-proof doors that make it comfortable to be in whatever the weather. The huge main door can be converted into an awning with the supplied awning poles, while the smaller side porch offers a space to change out of wet footwear without entering the main living space.
The fully sewn-in groundsheet keeps crawling insects at bay, and the myriad of adjustable ventilation options help to keep the inner fresh and also to reduce condensation build up. An additional Temperature Moderator (sold separately) can help further on hot, sunny days.
